At Kayak Tours Malta we specialize in delivering a beginner friendly, guided kayak experience around Malta’s nicest coasts. We offer tuition, all equipment, & support.
A kayak tour is 2.5 hrs. experience that starts with about 20 minutes dedicated to a basic kayak lesson & kitting. From there onwards we have an approximate 2hrs + kayaking where we paddle through Malta’s clear waters, explore secluded coasts & admire Malta’s amazing caves!
The pace is relaxed - we stop multiple times to admire the surroundings, to take a rest & to animate the experience in several ways. This may include a swim stop, an exploratory land break, or the delivery of kayak games that can be of a collaborative, or a funnily competitive nature. These are a proven success in giving a different dimension to the experience & offer a bonding opportunity for your team.
Throughout the experience, our team will calibrate the pace & the combination of these activities based on your team member’s abilities & predisposition to, (or lack of), to sporting activities. We take responsibility to ensure all members enjoy the experience equally.
By request, we can provide additional services such as serving fresh, cold fruits during the land break to invigorate the body & spirit.
About us.
We are successfully operational since 2017, we are fully registered with Transport Malta & have a full-time team of 2 Kayak leaders, together with a little army of enthusiast part timers. We can host up to 26 guests at a time & can deliver multiple back-to-back events for larger groups.
We use beginner friendly, extremely stable sit-on-top kayaks that are easy to hop on & hop off. Our kayaks are much larger than the average rental kayaks, measuring 4.5 meters in length for extra glide & comfort. We have a total of eleven double seater, & an additional four single seater kayaks in our fleet.
Location & Times
We predominantly operate from Mistra Bay & deliver tours at 10am, 2pm & sunset tours at 5pm. Having said that, we are mobile based & service eight separate locations around Malta. With enough prior notice, we are able to deliver our services in other locations, such as central Manoel Island.
The price for a private tour starts at €39 per person, for groups of 13 persons & above.
